André Valmy Biyografisi

André Antoine Marius Dugenet, bilinen adıyla André Valmy, 8 Ekim 1919'da Paris'te doğan ve 18 Kasım 2015'te Nice'te ölen Fransız aktördür. André, Ekim grubunu sık sık ziyaret ediyor: Yves Montand, Simone Signoret ve Gérard Philipe, birlikte Une'deki Somme Körfezi'nde (1949) film çekiyor. André Valmy, en büyük yönetmenler (Raymond Rouleau, Jean-Louis Barrault, Jean Vilar) için tiyatroda çokça oynuyor. André Valmy 1950'lerin başında dublaj işine aktör arkadaşı Jean Brochard aracılığıyla başladı. Genellikle sert ve otoriter olan ancak fanteziden yoksun olmayan karakterler için ona başroller veya önemli yardımcı roller verildi. 1990'ların sonunda André Valmy, giderek daha az talep görmesi ve giderek ciddileşen görme sorunları yaşaması nedeniyle dublajı yavaş yavaş bıraktı.
