John Cale Biyografisi

John Davies Cale, OBE, Galli bir müzisyen, besteci, şarkıcı, söz yazarı ve plak yapımcısıdır. Cale, küçük yaşta viyolaya olan yeteneğini keşfetti ve 13 yaşında Galler Ulusal Gençlik Orkestrası'nın bir üyesi oldu. Daha sonra Londra, İngiltere'deki Goldsmiths College'dan burs kazandı. 1963 yılında Aaron Copland'ın desteği ve etkisiyle müzik eğitimine devam etmek üzere Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ne gitti. Amerikalı rock grubu The Velvet Underground'un kurucu üyesiydi. Cale, elli yıllık kariyeri boyunca rock, drone, klasik, avangard ve elektronik müzik gibi çeşitli tarzlarda çalıştı.
