Laurent Brancowitz Biyografisi
Laurent Brancowitz, asıl adı Laurent Mazzalai olan Fransız müzisyen-gitaristtir. 1992 yılında Laurent Brancowitz, Beach Boys'u anımsatan ilhamlarla Darlin' grubunun kuruluşunda yer aldı. Grup üç üyeden oluşuyor: Laurent Brancowitz, Thomas Bangalter ve Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Duphonic Records etiketiyle anlaşma imzaladılar. İngiliz müzik dergisi Melody Maker, müziklerini "aptalca serseri çöp" olarak tanımlıyor. Darlin' birkaç ay sonra dağıldı. Thomas Bangalter ve Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo elektronik müzik alanında çalışmaya devam etmek ve Daft Punk grubunu oluşturmak için Melody Maker dergisinden alıntıyı kullanmak istiyor.
