Lindsay Duncan Biyografisi

Lindsay Vere Duncan, CBE (7 Kasım 1950 doğumlu), İskoç bir sahne ve televizyon oyuncusu. Sahnedeki çalışmaları nedeniyle üç BAFTA adaylığı ve bir İskoç BAFTA adaylığının yanı sıra iki Olivier Ödülü ve bir Tony Ödülü'nün sahibidir. Harold Pinter'ın birçok oyununda rol aldı. Duncan'ın yaptığı filmler arasında Kulaklarınızı Dikin (1987), Yansıyan Cilt (1990), Belediye Binası (1996), İdeal Bir Koca, Yıldız Savaşları: Bölüm I - Gizli Tehlike, Mansfield Park (tümü 1999), Tuscan Sun'ın Altında, AfterLife (her ikisi de 2003), Starter for 10 (2006), Tim Burton'ın Alice Harikalar Diyarında (2010), About Time yer alıyor. (2013), Birdman (2014) ve Blackbird (2019). Sahne ve film dışında Duncan, Alan Bleasdale'in eleştirmenlerce beğenilen G.B.H. filminde Barbara Douglas rolünü canlandırdı. (1991), HBO'nun tarihi drama dizisi Rome'da Junii'den Servilia (2005–2007), Doctor Who özel "The Waters of Mars"ta Adelaide Brooke (2009), BBC Two mini dizisi The Honorable Woman'da Anjelica Hayden-Hoyle (2014) ve BBC One'ın Sherlock dizisinde Lady Smallwood (2014–2017). Ayrıca Longford (2006) ve Margaret (2009) adlı televizyon filmlerinde sırasıyla Elizabeth Longford ve Margaret Thatcher'ı canlandırdı.
