Pam Grier Biyografisi

Pamela Suzette Grier (26 Mayıs 1949 doğumlu) Amerikalı aktris. Yönetmen Quentin Tarantino'nun sinemanın ilk kadın aksiyon yıldızı olarak tanımladığı film, American International Pictures ve New World Pictures için 1970'lerin aksiyon, istismar ve hapishanedeki kadın filmlerindeki başrolleriyle ün kazandı. Aldığı ödüller arasında Emmy Ödülü, Altın Küre Ödülü, Screen Actors Guild Ödülü, Satellite Ödülü ve Saturn Ödülü adaylıkları yer alıyor. Grier, Coffy (1973) ve Foxy Brown (1974) filmlerindeki baş rolleriyle ön plana çıktı; bu dönemdeki diğer önemli filmleri arasında The Big Doll House (1971), Women in Cages (1971), The Big Bird Cage (1972), Black Mama, White Mama (1973), Scream Blacula Scream (1973), The Arena (1974), Sheba, Baby (1975), Bucktown (1975) ve Friday Foster (1975) yer aldı. Quentin Tarantino'nun polisiye filmi Jackie Brown'da (1997) baş karakteri canlandırdı ve ayrıca Escape from L.A.
